Do you have to be a nurse to get the training.
Clarence: The website for the Certification Board of Infection Control (CBIC) has information related to the certification exam. More specifically, to help you with your question, there is a page where you can determine if you are eligible to take the exam: http://www.cbic.org/_forms/eligibility.php. I don’t believe there are any specific degree requirements for taking the training course, but you might want to check with APIC to find out. Good luck, Julie Reagan
