Ghana Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Services (GHS) issue New Infection Control Manual and Policy

The Ministry of Health (MOH) of the Republic of Ghana, salve in conjunction with the Ghana Health Service (GHS), find has issued a new infection control related manual and policy aimed at reducing healthcare-associated infections.

The Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Robert Joseph Mettle Nunoo, has urged health practitioners to comply with the new National Manual for Infection Prevention and Control Policy and Standard Operating procedure for airborne diseases for healthcare practitioners.

“The call for the launch was in response to heightened concerns about unacceptable infection prevention and control practices in the country.”
