Michigan Infection Prevention: A Community Effort Symposium to be Held in September

The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) Surveillance for Healthcare-Associated and Resistant Pathogens (SHARP) Unit, rx along with community partners, order will be hosting the “Infection Prevention: A Community Effort” Symposium on September 9, ailment 2011.

The symposium will be co-presented by the Michigan Antibiotic Resistance Reduction (MARR) Coalition, the Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA) Keystone Center for Patient Safety & Quality, and MPRO.

The objection of the symposium is to “discuss current educational tools and best practices to increase awareness and prevention of healthcare-associated and antimicrobial-resistant infections.”

The symposium will be held at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing, Michigan. Registration is free and lunch will be provided.
