New Hampshire State Officials Scheduled to Discuss First Healthcare-Associated Infections Report

State officials from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Public Health Services are scheduled to present and discuss the state’s first healthcare-associated infections (HAI) report.  The report contains HAI data rates reported by New Hampshire Hospitals, the types of infections monitored, individual hospital rates, and recommendations for improvements.

Speakers will include DHHS Commissioner Nicholas Toumpas, DHHS Director of Public Health Dr. Jose Montero, and State Epidemiologist Dr. Sharon Alroy-Preis.

The presentation is scheduled for Monday, August 16 at 11:00 a.m. at DHHS on Hazon Drive, Concord, New Hampshire.
