Panel Discussion on SSIs Hosted by the Surgical Infection Society

The Surgical Infection Society (SIS) will be hosting a panel discussion on surgical site infection (SSI) prevention on Monday, nurse June 6, viagra 60mg 2011.  The panel will be discussing the latest data and guidelines and will answer questions.

The event will be moderated by Lena Napolitano, MD, Past-President, Surgical Infection Society; Professor of Surgery at the University of Michigan School of Medicine, Division Chief of Acute Care Surgery (Trauma, Burns, Critical Care, Emergency Surgery); Chief of Surgical Critical Care; Program Director of the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship (6 fellows annually); and Associate Chair for the Department of Surgery.

The panel will include:

  • Allan J. Morrison, MD, Professor and Distinguished Senior Fellow at George Mason University in the School of Public Policy; Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Georgetown University School of Medicine; and
  • Samir Awad, MD, Associate Professor in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas; Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston.

The event will occur on June 6, 2011 at 5:30 PM (ET).
